Walking In Beauty.........
Living here in the enchanted, gloriously beautiful high mountain desert of New Mexico does present certain challenges to skin care, unique to this environment. Commercially produced soaps just didn't seem to measure up when it came to moisturizing & caring for my skin, leaving it dry and itchy. I suspected this was due to  the common ingredients found in commercial soap, like detergents and heavy fragrances.

I began by researching the art of Cold Process soap making with the intention of making natural soaps that contained only the absolute best natural ingredients for my skin, preferably chemical and additive free. This knowledge has evolved into a thriving, cumulative 15 year business that's known today as Victoria's Natural Soap, and has also enabled me to happily share the goodness of these products with others.
The appreciation of fine arts, photography, writings & lost crafts springs from my native roots in New Mexico. I am a relocated Santa Fe "local", one of the original residents of the historic Turquoise Trail, now residing temporarily in Southern New Mexico. I grew up riding & training horses on the picturesque back trails and back country of Cerrillos and Madrid, New Mexico, working at the old J.W. Eaves movie set every summer alongside beloved stars like Johnny Cash, June Carter, Karen Black, John Wayne,  Kirk Douglas and many others, and herding cattle at the famous Hazel Cash ranch, in the Ortiz mountains, near the historic town of  Cerrillos.  Although much of my time is now spent between Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado, this unique personal history has inspired much of my work today, and is represented with my artisan soap labels. These are created with the use of my original artwork & photography, out of deep respect and love for the natural beauty of Northern New Mexico and Colorado. Each is unique and reflects the beauty, care and high quality ingredients I put into every one of my products.
